
Managing Engineer β Software Development, Container Workloads

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of software engineers.
β’ Design and implement reference architectures, sample applications, and reusable implementation patterns.
β’ Collaborate with product, platform, and infrastructure teams to tackle real-world engineering challenges.
β’ Provide technical guidance for architecture, design reviews, and implementation choices.
β’ Advocate for engineering best practices concerning scalability, resilience, security, and maintainability.
β’ Enhance understanding of platform dependencies such as caching, messaging, networking, identity, and observability.
β’ Promote the adoption of reusable patterns and standards across engineering teams.
β’ Engage in coding, prototyping, and troubleshooting activities as necessary.
β’ Oversee staffing, prioritization, delivery planning, and team performance.
β’ Shape engineering standards and platform adoption throughout the organization.
β’ A minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience developing enterprise-scale applications and services.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in technical leadership, team management, or people management (or equivalent experience).
β’ Proficient in Java with a background in building distributed applications and services.
β’ Experience in developing cloud-native applications using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
β’ Familiarity with container technologies and Kubernetes-based deployments.
β’ Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and service integration patterns.
β’ Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging platforms, or asynchronous processing frameworks.
β’ Knowledge of distributed systems concepts such as scalability, resiliency, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
β’ Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence engineering decisions.
