This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Lead the Portfolio and Team
• Manage a comprehensive Medicaid managed care portfolio that includes subject matter expertise, client relations, and team leadership.
• Direct teams of specialists and analysts, cultivating a positive culture and exceptional client service.
• Establish a clear and compelling vision for project execution and delivery.
• Provide Deep Expertise
• Act as an expert advisor throughout the portfolio: RFP readiness and response, operational assistance, and state policy analysis and advocacy.
• Offer extensive state Medicaid policy knowledge across all demographics, including LTSS, TANF, expansion adults, children and families, and individuals with disabilities.
• Grow the Business and Client Relationships
• Spearhead business development and growth: identify new clients, shape opportunities, scope proposals, and negotiate new business agreements.
• Convert client challenges into ATI solutions and enhance existing portfolio relationships.
• Act as a reliable, go-to resource, providing actionable insights across each client's Medicaid portfolio.
• Build Market Awareness
• Develop thought leadership and content that amplifies ATI’s presence in the market.
• Represent ATI externally at conferences, panels, presentations, expert workgroups, and in media engagements.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for background in a Medicaid managed care organization, a state Medicaid agency, or an advisory capacity supporting Medicaid managed care clients.
• In-depth subject matter expertise in Medicaid managed care, encompassing state Medicaid policy, procurement and contracting, delivery system reform, quality and access priorities, and the interaction of policy with product strategy across Medicaid populations such as LTSS, TANF, expansion adults, children and families, individuals with disabilities, and other eligibility groups.
• Strong consulting skills, including the ability to manage a dynamic portfolio of projects and clients, apply critical and strategic thinking across a wide range of Medicaid managed care topics, and ensure excellence in client service.
• Experience in supporting Medicaid managed care RFP readiness and response, including market assessment, positioning, strategy development, solutioning, proposal content, and implementation planning.
• Proven ability to support Medicaid managed care operational priorities, including health plan operations, clinical models, provider networks, quality improvement, member experience, and performance enhancement.
• Business development skills, capable of retaining existing portfolio clients and establishing new clients and workstreams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills suitable for varied audiences, including strong presentation abilities and effective communication with executive-level clients.
