This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee all facets of sales management in international markets.
• Supervise and provide support to EMEA and APAC Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).
• Drive and fulfill the company's international growth objectives while enhancing its existing network of importers.
• Identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities, concentrating on high-volume targets.
• Clearly communicate the company's sales and distribution goals.
• Ensure that efforts align with our objectives and corporate culture.
• Develop target accounts, while educating and training trade and importer personnel about our brand.
• Lead and engage in quarterly sales meetings and business reviews.
• Participate in selected trade events, wine tastings, dinners, and similar activities.
• Manage the International Sales Team, which includes the EMEA Regional Sales Manager and the APAC Regional Sales Manager.
• Oversee go-to-market sales processes for each product launch: pricing verification, compliance, product setup, print/digital assets, allocation timelines, sampling, order fulfillment, POS, and merchandise.
• Maintain regular communication with the international team and Wholesale Management.
• Provide same-day responses to inquiries from customers and company communications.
• Maintain master pricing and consumer pricing by country.
• Accountable for compliance with state, federal, and international laws and regulations.
• Ensure the International team is effectively managing account relationships and marketing initiatives.
• Manage and forecast sales and expense budgets to achieve quarterly revenue targets.
• Collaborate with the VP of Sales to develop wholesale expense budgets and oversee monthly line-item variances.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of national wine sales experience and 5 years of international wine sales experience.
• Experience living and/or working internationally.
• Possesses an established network of global relationships.
• Existing contacts and strong relationships with key importers.
• Proven success in establishing accounts in international markets.
• Demonstrated experience and current relationships with National Hotel Accounts.
• Proven track record in business development and increasing case volume.
• Strong international business acumen and cultural awareness.
• Working knowledge of international legal and compliance issues in the wine industry.
• Exemplary professional conduct and dependability.
• Self-motivated, positive individual capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent managerial and sales skills.
• Valid CA driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver effective group presentations.
• Strong business writing and mathematical skills.
• Proven ability to track details and manage information effectively.
• Willingness and ability to travel over 65% of the time.
