This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Take ownership of the Philippines business and revenue across various incident response service lines, which include retainers, on-demand response, and subscription offerings.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director, South East Asia, and C-Suite team to establish territory targets.
• Develop and manage the market strategy and territory prioritization for the Philippines.
• Ensure forecast accuracy, pipeline integrity, CRM hygiene, and maintain stage discipline with Revenue Operations.
• Present defensible business metrics for Series B funding and investor diligence.
• Plan market headcount and commercial investments while adhering to budget and authority levels.
• Personally lead and close strategic enterprise and complex opportunities in a player-coach capacity.
• Build, mentor, and hold accountable a local sales team.
• Maintain executive relationships with CISOs, CIOs, Heads of IT, General Counsel, CFOs, and Boards.
• Propel Blackpanda's A2I proposition in the market.
• Create a repeatable sales motion and enforce commercial standards, pricing discipline, and approval workflows.
• Manage and expand channel and alliance relationships in the Philippines.
• Identify, negotiate, and onboard local channel partners, MSSPs, resellers, and professional services firms.
• Foster relationships within the local insurance and broker ecosystem.
• Oversee partner-led revenue performance, joint pipeline, enablement, co-marketing, and commercial terms.
• Represent Blackpanda with regulators, industry bodies, law-enforcement liaison channels, and stakeholders in the cyber ecosystem.
• Lead the Philippines market within a matrix organization across sales, marketing, customer success, and response functions.
• Influence hiring strategies, define roles, assess candidates, and build a scalable talent pipeline.
• Directly impact local demand generation, brand presence, events, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Coach first-line managers and emerging leaders.
• Set the standard for Blackpanda's external brand and core values in the market.
• Serve as a senior escalation point during live incidents in the market.
• Collaborate with response leadership to guarantee local response capacity, SLA commitments, and readiness.
• Ensure seamless transitions from sale through provisioning, delivery, and renewal processes.
• Share responsibility for renewal and expansion outcomes alongside the Customer Success team.
• Provide market intelligence, client requirements, and competitive dynamics to inform regional offering decisions.
• Act as the senior in-market executive for operations in the Philippines.
• Work alongside Finance, Legal, and external advisors to address statutory, employment, tax, and regulatory obligations.
• Ensure compliance with commercial governance, data handling, confidentiality, and information security regulations.
• Manage local vendors, premises, and operational infrastructure effectively.
• Support Series B diligence, audits, and any market-specific licensing or accreditation requirements.
• Over 12 years of professional experience.
• At least 5 years in country management, general management, or senior revenue leadership with full revenue ownership in the Philippines.
• Proven experience in building and scaling a business in the Philippines, including hiring, developing, and retaining a local commercial team.
• A consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets in enterprise and SME B2B services, cybersecurity, professional services, or enterprise technology.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity buyer behavior and the incident response, DFIR, or managed security landscape.
• Direct experience in incident response or DFIR is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in building and monetizing channel, OEM, or MSSP-led routes to market in the Philippines.
• Experience in a high-growth, dynamic, pre-Series B environment.
• Executive presence and credibility with C-level, Board, and regulatory audiences, especially during live crisis situations.
• Commercial rigor and data literacy, including ownership of forecasts and pipeline data analysis.
• An existing senior-level network within the Philippines enterprise, security, legal, and conglomerate business ecosystems is a significant advantage.
• Understanding of the cyber insurance industry is a considerable asset.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Tagalog is required.
• Additional Asian language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must be based in Metro Manila.
• Willingness to travel across the country and to regional Blackpanda offices as needed.
• Successful candidates during the interview process may be required to complete a practical Case Study.
• 40 days of paid leave annually, inclusive of public holidays.
