This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• This individual is responsible for expanding their designated agency and managing local staff to fulfill the company's business objectives.
• The Managing Director mentors and cultivates agents to adequately meet the insurance demands of policyholders and clients with suitable products.
• This role aids agents in optimizing their professional development and revenue-generating prospects.
• Acts as the primary link between the Home Office and assigned (independent) sales agents.
• The individual recruits and nurtures agents.
• Enhances the agency's growth, efficiency, and production by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, training, coaching, and counseling insurance agents; while effectively communicating values, strategies, and objectives.
• Achieves agency goals by proposing business plans, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Drives new business by recognizing and acting on opportunities within the local market.
• Establishes and sustains positive and compliant working relationships with clients, insurance carriers, regulatory bodies, assigned agents, and colleagues.
• Boosts profitability of proprietary product lines by motivating agents to consider these products when addressing client needs.
• Maintains trust and credibility with clients by possessing thorough knowledge of current market conditions, compliant business practices, and a complete understanding of available product solutions.
• Enhances the company's image by collaborating with customers, community organizations, and others while upholding ethical business practices.
• Oversees and coordinates the agency's financial and budget activities to manage operations effectively and maximize growth and efficiency.
• Achieves required growth and sales targets.
• Over five years of experience in the insurance sector, ideally in marketing, sales, and suitability roles.
• Experience with Medicare, life, and annuity products.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Exceptional time-management skills and capacity to meet deadlines.
• Prior agency sales experience is essential.
