This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee project timelines and resources to guarantee the successful completion of projects.
• Supervise project delivery to align with client expectations.
• Lead contingency planning and address issues (e.g., challenging client discussions).
• Assist in creating project roadmaps.
• Execute project-related tasks.
• Identify growth prospects within existing client organizations and establish new client relationships.
• Comprehend client requirements and aid in solution development.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to provide valuable insights to clients and RSG's planning processes.
• Engage in activities and industry events to promote the RSG brand.
• Direct project teams to carry out consulting engagements on-time and within budget, adhering to RSG's high delivery standards.
• Offer insights into project strategies, taking into account client goals and industry trends.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among the team.
• Actively contribute to recruitment, selection, management, mentoring, and development of staff.
• Bachelor's degree in transportation, market research, statistics, mathematics, economics, psychology, geography, engineering, energy, or a related field of study.
• A Master's degree or other advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 10 years of consulting or agency experience in a relevant domain.
• Demonstrated capability to lead and manage professional consulting teams delivering large-scale, complex projects.
• Proven track record of ensuring accountability for team performance, quality, and client outcomes.
• Experience managing multiple teams and project portfolios to deliver results within scope, timeline, and budget, while ensuring high client satisfaction.
• Ability to modify plans, priorities, and resource allocations in response to evolving business and operational conditions.
• Demonstrated leadership mindset centered on quality, innovation, and sustainable growth.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills, with the capacity to independently resolve complex issues in accordance with organizational policies and business strategies.
• Experience in providing professional and technical guidance to staff, colleagues, and clients.
• Proven ability to foster collaboration across functional areas to produce work products, troubleshoot issues, and develop new solutions/services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in recruiting, managing, and developing personnel (e.g., setting performance and development goals, providing performance feedback, participating in compensation decisions, and effectively engaging in disciplinary actions).
• Expertise in conducting analyses using statistical tools, databases, and spreadsheets, such as SPSS, Python, SQL, R, and/or Excel.
• High level of professionalism, executive presence, and presentation skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to varied audiences.
• Proven success in building and maintaining client relationships that foster new and repeat business.
• Well-established professional network that supports business development initiatives.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Competitive salary range of $117k - $146k/year (Compensation within the posted range is based on multiple factors including geographic location, experience, internal equity, and qualifications. Offers are typically not made at the top of the range).
