
Managing Consultant – Clinical and Operational Improvement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate directly with clients to significantly enhance operational outcomes.
• Implement workflow redesigns, optimize resource utilization, and minimize variation in care.
• Utilize health system and ambulatory operational best practices backed by data.
• Propel financial, clinical, and operational improvements at client provider organizations.
• Conduct data and business process analyses.
• Oversee projects and produce deliverables.
• Execute research and perform complex analytics on extensive data sets.
• Draw insights and provide recommendations based on analytical findings.
• Cultivate account management relationships with key client stakeholders.
• Recognize significant industry challenges and aid in formulating practice responses.
• Contribute to Statements of Work, project plans, proposals, and executive presentations for clients.
• Enhance consulting capabilities through training, mentoring, and client engagement.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree; a graduate degree is preferred.
• At least 4-6+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior consulting or health system leadership experience is desirable.
• Strong familiarity with technology, tools, and the application of AI in client settings.
• Subject matter expertise in at least one specific solution area.
• Capability to perform complex analytics on large data sets.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Strong leadership skills in client interactions.
• Ability to identify and pursue business development opportunities.
• Proven ability to thrive in challenging circumstances while being a supportive team member.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams and navigating conflicts effectively.
• Ability to deliver projects with meticulous attention to detail within tight deadlines.
• Self-driven and dedicated to ongoing learning and professional growth.
• Effective communication skills and leadership presence with physicians, clinicians, administrators, colleagues, and Guidehouse resources.
