Managing Consultant / Associate – Financial Services Operations & Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead or assist in banking transformation initiatives focusing on consumer lending, retail banking, and payments.

• Evaluate existing operations, create future-state operating models, and formulate actionable implementation roadmaps.

• Provide support for transformation programs, governance, and PMOs from strategic planning to execution.

• Facilitate technology-driven transformations, including vendor assessments, implementation, and business readiness efforts.

• Produce high-quality deliverables for clients and prepare executive presentations.

• Establish strong working relationships with clients and effectively communicate recommendations to project stakeholders.

• Collaborate with AI experts to integrate AI-enabled methods into consulting services.

• Assist in business development and play a role in the ongoing growth of the practice.

• At the Managing Consultant level, oversee intricate workstreams and manage daily project execution.

• Review deliverables and provide guidance to Associates and other junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous consulting experience in delivering business transformations for financial institutions.

• Candidates for the Managing Consultant position should possess experience in leading workstreams and mentoring junior staff.

• Background in retail banking, consumer lending, or credit card services.

• Proven experience in supporting transformation initiatives within regulated financial institutions.

• Capability to collaborate effectively across business, operations, technology, legal, compliance, and risk functions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.
