Finance Systems Delivery Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple simultaneous client projects.

• Ensure that projects are executed in accordance with the defined scope, timelines, and quality standards.

• Provide active oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to go-live and post-implementation support.

• Proactively identify project risks and issues, and drive effective mitigation and resolution strategies.

• Serve as an escalation point for concerns and issues related to delivery.

• Facilitate challenging discussions and assist clients in navigating complex decision-making processes.

• Cultivate trusted advisor relationships through consistent excellence in delivery and deep industry knowledge.

• Enhance client satisfaction, referenceability, and foster long-term account growth.

• Establish and uphold delivery standards, methodologies, and best practices.

• Advocate for continuous improvement in delivery processes and client engagements.

• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to project teams during delivery.

• Mentor team members and contribute to the enhancement of consulting capabilities.

• Recognize potential scope changes and assist with change control processes.

• Collaborate with Engagement Leads and commercial stakeholders to oversee project profitability and contractual commitments.

• Assist in project recovery efforts when faced with delivery challenges.

• Participate in the advancement of delivery methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks.

• Support business development initiatives, including solution evaluations, project planning, and proposal creation.

• Share knowledge of lessons learned and best practices across the team.

• Stay informed about legal technology trends, Elite 3E / Aderant Expert functionalities, and industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 8-12 years experience delivering enterprise software, financial systems, or business transformation initiatives.

• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements in a consulting or professional services context.

• Strong background in delivering complex software implementation projects.

• Previous experience in the legal services sector is highly preferred.

• Direct experience with Elite 3E, Aderant Expert, or other legal practice management and financial systems is highly desirable.

• Experience collaborating with law firms and understanding legal finance, billing, matter management, and operational processes.

• Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders, including executive-level client sponsors.

• Based in the United Kingdom with the ability to travel as needed.

• Willingness to visit client sites throughout the UK and internationally when required.
