This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in analyzing and supporting activities related to Government Markets (ACA and Medicare) along with Commercial Markets (Small/Mid/Large Group and ASO).
• Maintain and enhance Actuarial analyses, including trend establishment, gross margin reporting, and financial forecasting.
• Conduct rate analysis and development.
• Serve as an Actuarial representative in cross-functional workgroups, actively participating in discussions.
• Perform forecasting and variance analysis along with reporting.
• Provide support for product development initiatives.
• Assist with segmentation efforts.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably Math/Statistics.
• Must possess the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation.
• Strong ability to communicate and present detailed business and financial strategies clearly and concisely to management at all levels.
• Experience in the health or insurance sectors.
• Proficiency in SAS, R, and/or SQL.
• Familiarity with programming languages and PC software, including spreadsheets, graphics, and word processors.
• Experience in independently managing projects and/or teams.
• Demonstrated capability in innovation and process improvement.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation is preferred.
