Manager – Toxicology Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acts in a key operational capacity for the Toxicology department, ensuring that departmental and project objectives are met as designated.

• Aids in establishing standardized departmental practices (including SOPs) for the execution and reporting of Toxicology studies.

• Functions as the primary study monitor or sponsor representative with administrative oversight concerning the execution of Toxicology studies conducted at CRO.

• Works collaboratively with lead scientists, offering direct input and recommendations on study designs and protocols.

• Accountable for the independent management of study outsourcing (RFP, contracting, protocol development, monitoring, and reporting).

• Delivers comprehensive evaluation of experimental data from Toxicology studies and collaborates with program toxicologists to interpret, report, and present findings.

• Assists and directs the collection and assessment of metrics related to the execution of Toxicology studies.

• Provides toxicology leadership support in preparation for regulatory inspection readiness activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biological sciences.

• Over 7 years of post-degree experience in a pharmaceutical or drug development environment.

• Extensive experience in the design, monitoring, and interpretation of regulated nonclinical safety studies.

• Proficient in communicating Toxicology study results to global project teams.

• Capability to troubleshoot challenges that arise during the execution of Toxicology studies.
