This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
β’ Set team priorities for the research and development of innovative victim intelligence collection and analysis capabilities to enhance the coverage of significant victim intelligence.
β’ Guide, mentor, and develop a team of malware researchers and analysts.
β’ Lead the creation and implementation of advanced malware emulators, trackers, and crawlers to gather infection telemetry.
β’ Propel research efforts into intricate C2 communication channels (e.g., P2P, direct IP, hybrid models) to ensure ongoing visibility over botnets.
β’ Take ownership of the quality of victim intelligence data and promote continuous enhancements.
β’ Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to convert threat telemetry into scalable product functionalities.
β’ Extensive subject matter expertise in malware infrastructure and C2 methodologies.
β’ Proven experience in developing detection rules and extracting IOCs from malware analysis.
β’ Demonstrated track record in managing and leading high-performing technical teams within a research or security-oriented environment.
β’ Proven success in designing complex technical workflows, such as malware analysis, telemetry collection, or large-scale data processing.
β’ Excellent communication and analytical abilities, including the skill to recognize and resolve ambiguous issues.
β’ Proficient in standard scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go).
