This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Oversee the Remote Tax Pro (RTP) program as a key component of the CPA Roll-Up strategy.
• Ensure the RTP program achieves success and maintains long-term sustainability.
• Collaborate across various teams, sponsors, and stakeholders to improve program capacity and capabilities.
• Lead the process of transitioning clients from in-office services to remote offerings.
• Provide direct leadership for the RTP program and its associates, which includes hiring, talent development, output management, bench planning, compensation reviews, recognition, and performance management.
• Supervise the creation and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Generate regular performance reports for the program and offer financial oversight.
• Understand the needs of RTP clients to ensure service delivery and feedback mechanisms align with client expectations.
• Advocate for the RTP program while acting as a liaison for Roll Up offices.
• Ensure consistent participation in the program from each office.
• Identify opportunities to broaden the program's scope and types of services offered.
• Anticipate program viability and risks in collaboration with support partners.
• Identify, secure, and organize resources necessary for operating the RTP program.
• Implement the assigned Short Range Plan and performance objectives, ensuring program effectiveness and labor efficiency.
• Manage the calculation of incentive payments.
• Verify and document program results, tracking progress and setbacks.
• Act as a brand ambassador for internal and external stakeholders.
• Complete necessary tasks to strengthen and advance the RTP program.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience through a combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of related work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, develop, and lead high-performing teams, including nurturing new or emerging leadership talent.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret operational, workforce, financial, and client experience data.
• Proven track record of managing multiple priorities, leading change, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Advanced communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
• High emotional intelligence and a capacity to foster accountability, engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
• Strong client relationship management skills, committed to delivering a precise, timely, and consistent client experience.
• Proficiency in Windows-based computer systems and a keen aptitude for learning and applying technology in a business context.
• Must meet IRS e-file suitability standards as outlined by IRS Publication 3112.
• Willingness to work irregular hours as business needs arise.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed or virtual teams.
• Background in tax preparation, accounting, financial services, or a professional services environment.
• Experience scaling a team or operating model through various growth stages.
• Familiarity with using workforce, productivity, quality, and client experience metrics to drive performance.
