This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Maintain a comprehensive organizational perspective of core platforms, program tools, integrations, vendors, ownership, and key data flows.
• Act as the internal business owner for assigned platforms, which include Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and organizational websites.
• Set priorities, define decision-making rights, establish ownership, and govern systems, data, access, integrations, and major changes.
• Create and sustain a systems roadmap in collaboration with technology partners.
• Recognize fragmentation, duplication, technical debt, and systemic risks while offering practical recommendations.
• Implement intake, assessment, and prioritization processes for systems-related requests and initiatives.
• Lead systems projects and significant platform changes from assessment and requirements to implementation, adoption, and operational handover.
• Define project scope, outcomes, roles, timelines, dependencies, budgets, decision points, and success metrics.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors, and technical partners for user acceptance testing, communications, training, launch, and change readiness.
• Identify and escalate stalled decisions, delivery risks, and dependencies.
• Serve as the main internal contact for managed services, web infrastructure, and development partners.
• Translate organizational priorities and business needs into requirements and directives for vendors.
• Monitor vendor scope, performance, deliverables, service expectations, risks, and costs.
• Ensure NNPBC retains ownership, administrative authority, documentation, organizational knowledge, and decision-making control.
• Establish frameworks for data and information ownership, storage, access, sharing, retention, disposition, and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate privacy reviews and privacy impact assessments.
• Maintain privacy and information management policies, risk documentation, records, and incident response practices.
• Collaborate across departments to align systems and information practices with service delivery and organizational goals.
• Advise senior leadership on priorities, investments, risks, dependencies, and unresolved decisions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance user experience, minimize manual tasks, and reinforce consistency.
• Escalate significant systems, privacy, information, and vendor risks to the Director of Business Operations and senior leadership.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in business systems, digital platforms, information management, technology governance, digital transformation, or a related field.
• Experience in leading or managing organizational systems or platforms in a capacity such as business owner, product owner, platform lead, systems manager, or other comparable internal leadership roles.
• Proven project management experience in coordinating complex, cross-functional systems or digital initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation, adoption, and operational handover.
• Experience in developing systems roadmaps, governance practices, business requirements, and prioritization strategies.
• Experience in directing and overseeing external technology partners, managed services, and development collaborations.
• Practical knowledge of privacy management and information governance, including access, retention, and information lifecycle practices.
• Strong skills in systems thinking, communication, facilitation, and sound judgment.
• Ability to comprehend complex systems, integrations, data flows, and vendor environments, translating them into practical recommendations and decisions.
• Capacity to assess technology from business, governance, privacy, project delivery, and user experience perspectives rather than purely as a hands-on technical administrator.
• A relevant combination of education and experience in business systems, information management, privacy, technology governance, project management, business analysis, digital transformation, or a related field will be considered.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Dynamics 365, CRM platforms, websites, databases, Airtable, or similar technologies.
• Experience in supporting privacy impact assessments, records management, data governance, privacy incident response, or related information management activities.
• Knowledge of British Columbia privacy legislation.
• Formal training or certification in project management, business analysis, product management, or change management.
• Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, public-sector, regulatory, professional association, or membership-based organizations.
• Comfort in working within modern digital, remote collaboration, and knowledge-work environments.
• Must be a resident of British Columbia.
• Ability to accommodate occasional regional travel.
• Capability to work independently and effectively in a high-performing remote setting.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in dynamic, high-visibility environments.
