Manager, Supplier Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee Form Energy’s supplier quality engineering team

• Create a top-tier team of Supplier Quality Engineers

• Report directly to the Director of Quality

• Collaborate with design engineering, supplier industrialization engineering, supply chain, and product quality teams

• Enhance supplier quality management processes alongside design and supply chain leaders

• Foster a culture of swift responses and long-term corrective actions with the team and vendors

• Work with the NPI team to establish and oversee quality control and acceptance testing procedures

• Lead initiatives for failure and root-cause analysis

• Assist in the creation of supplier quality documentation

• Promote a Zero Defect mindset throughout the supply chain

• Track and evaluate supplier quality nonconformance performance

• Support PPAP initiatives to ensure vendors deliver conforming products to Form Factory 1

• Facilitate the resolution of vendor nonconformances

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience or capability to build and lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers

• Proficiency in enhancing supplier quality management processes with design and supply chain leaders

• Skill in developing rapid-response and long-term corrective-action strategies with vendors

• Experience collaborating with NPI teams on quality control and acceptance test processes

• Background in failure and root-cause analysis

• Ability to produce supplier quality documentation

• Capability to instill a Zero Defect mentality within the supply chain

• Competence in monitoring and assessing supplier performance regarding quality nonconformance

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

• Must specify whether visa sponsorship is currently or potentially needed
