Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Vendor Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +34 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute a strategic sourcing framework that enhances efficiency, ensures compliance, and promotes agility in the procurement of software, cloud services, and business partnerships.

• Manage procurement operations to guarantee that all requests progress seamlessly through the appropriate reviews and approval processes while adhering to SLAs for speed and compliance.

• Collaborate with the CISO and IT teams to ensure that software acquisitions are secure, align with our existing technology stack, and are cost-optimized.

• Act as the system administrator for Zip, focusing on maintaining and enhancing workflows that assist stakeholders throughout each phase of the SaaS and services procurement lifecycle.

• Provide guidance to business partners on procurement policies and best practices, ensuring that expectations are clearly managed and decisions are in accordance with company standards.

• Work closely with Engineering and Finance to track and optimize cloud expenditures, offering insights that promote budget efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strategic sourcing expert who has developed or supported procurement functions in a rapidly growing SaaS or technology-driven environment.

• Knowledge of Zip or similar procurement platforms is highly desirable.
