Manager, Strategic Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist Integrated Facilities and Property Management clients along with internal stakeholders in optimizing JLL-managed services operations and sourcing strategies.

• Provide market, supplier, and operational insights for service operations.

• Identify and guide field resources to implement strategic initiatives.

• Supervise 3 direct reports.

• Direct a team of sourcing professionals towards achieving strategic goals.

• Act as a subject matter expert on JLL sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and program management.

• Collaborate with clients and JLL Sourcing, Facility, and Property Management teams to deliver immediate and long-lasting client benefits.

• Conduct periodic market trend analyses, including assessments of the supplier base and industry changes.

• Present analysis to Supply Chain and business stakeholders in a client-ready format.

• Design, implement, coordinate, and communicate regional and national programs.

• Assist the Category Management team with supplier relationship and performance initiatives.

• Provide management, guidance, and follow-up for RFP/bid, contracting, and operational processes.

• Oversee internal and external customer expectations.

• Ensure adherence to JLL sourcing, contracting, risk management, and ethics policies.

• Collaborate with Corporate Legal and Risk Management on contractual terms and approvals.

• Set priorities, assign deliverables, and resolve challenges with operations teams and project personnel.

• Promote the development of diversity programs.

• Engage in and lead Preferred Supplier performance review meetings.

• Support JLL e-commerce procurement initiatives.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Experience in project management and business transitions is preferred.

• Proficient PC skills and expertise in MS Office applications.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.

• Robust analytical skills.

• Demonstrated capability to lead teams in a decentralized environment.

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited four-year institution and/or 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or a related field.

• MBA is preferred.

• Familiarity with JLL sourcing and contracting policies, procedures, risk management programs, and ethics.

• Ability to cultivate relationships with Corporate Legal and Risk Management.

• Skill in managing priorities, deliverables, operational issues, and stakeholder expectations.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
