This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist TMG’s leadership team by facilitating daily execution, follow-through, and communication regarding strategic objectives.
• Create, modify, and oversee presentations, dashboards, briefing materials, reports, and communications for executives.
• Simplify complex operational and financial data into clear summaries and actionable insights.
• Monitor projects, actions, deadlines, commitments, dependencies, risks, and outstanding issues; highlight delays and escalation requirements.
• Coordinate updates and information sharing across various stakeholders and teams.
• Provide project management assistance for strategic firm initiatives, including milestone tracking, status updates, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
• Prioritize tasks and manage conflicting demands in collaboration with Administrative Business Partners.
• Spearhead change management initiatives, including stakeholder alignment, communication strategies, and adoption tracking.
• Maintain oversight of performance metrics and analyze operational and financial data to detect trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and uphold reporting tools and dashboards.
• Manage agenda creation, pre-read preparation, PowerPoint content, and meeting support for leadership meetings, annual retreats, and Town Halls.
• Take notes during meetings and distribute them along with ownership and next steps.
• Standardize operating rhythms, templates, and reporting formats.
• Act as a focal point for leadership requests, information requirements, and updates.
• Foster and sustain relationships with leaders and stakeholders at TMG and throughout Council Advisors.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
• 6–8 years of experience as a Manager, Strategic Initiatives, strategy consultant, or executive projects manager in a high-performance professional services environment such as consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or a similarly demanding, fast-paced setting.
• Proven success in collaborating directly with senior executives and driving cross-functional initiatives.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, including development of executive-level presentations and data analysis.
• Expertise in creating status reports, program updates, and executive dashboards.
• Exceptional judgment and the ability to make informed decisions.
• Competence in navigating ambiguity, incomplete information, and shifting priorities.
• Maintains confidentiality, integrity, and resilience when managing sensitive information and stakeholder interactions.
• Ability to foresee issues and proactively identify possible challenges.
• Demonstrated project management skills, with proficiency in tracking, prioritization, and follow-through.
• Capacity to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• A self-starter attitude with a focus on action and continuous improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tell stories through PowerPoint.
• Capability to distill complex or ambiguous information into clear, concise, and actionable guidance.
• Proficiency in writing and editing executive-level communications.
• Ability to synthesize complex issues into clear options, insights, and actionable recommendations.
• Strong understanding of business operations, performance metrics, and financial concepts.
• High emotional intelligence, executive presence, and credibility with stakeholders.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and build trust-based relationships across all levels of the organization.
