This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Oversee internal events such as sales meetings, VIP/KOL gatherings, sales incentive trips, Town Halls, and various engagement activities.
• Guide event teams along with sales and marketing stakeholders in crafting strategic plans for successful tradeshow execution and performance metrics.
• Coordinate, organize, and implement events and initiatives in collaboration with business partners and organizational leaders.
• Communicate project timelines, creative strategies, and project progress effectively.
• Serve as the primary event planner or provide planning support according to business requirements.
• Monitor and report on shows, events, and associated expenses.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements, cost reductions, and improved strategic alignment across departments.
• Ensure that strategic events adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Perform post-event evaluations and share insights for the enhancement of future events.
• Work with Segment and Worldwide Marketing teams on product launches and the adoption of solutions.
• At least 5 years of experience in event planning.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, logistical planning, and execution abilities.
• Strong project management skills coupled with strategic thinking capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• High degree of initiative and a self-starter attitude.
• Positive and cooperative team player.
• Experience in building relationships and collaborating directly with C-suite executives and senior business partners.
• Proficient in sourcing and reserving venues, managing vendors and suppliers, and negotiating quotes, contracts, and agreements.
• Skilled in logistics management and on-site crew coordination.
• Experience with budgeting, invoicing, problem-solving, and reporting on event metrics.
• Proven experience working alongside C-suite leadership.
• Robust project management skills, along with expertise in facilities, service management, finance, and contract oversight.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines while adhering to budget constraints.
• High adaptability and a strong executive presence.
• A Bachelor’s degree in event planning, hospitality, marketing, or related fields is preferred.
• Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to support conferences, launches, and key meetings.
