This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead and cultivate high-performing, cross-functional engineering teams.
• Oversee project execution while steering technical strategy.
• Align engineering operations with Prenuvo’s overarching business goals.
• Deliver and integrate services focused on Salesforce Sales Cloud and Health Cloud.
• Foster team talent through one-on-one meetings, mentorship, feedback, and career development.
• Manage daily team execution and delivery utilizing agile methodologies.
• Provide practical technical mentorship and guide architectural choices.
• Establish code quality benchmarks and engage in code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Security, and Marketing to shape product vision and prioritize the backlog.
• Ensure engineering processes, architecture, and documentation comply with quality standards and healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and SOC 2.
• Identify obstacles and implement process enhancements.
• Define and track performance metrics for productivity, code quality, and delivery schedules.
• Communicate progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• 2+ years of direct leadership and engineering management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build and nurture high-performing engineering teams through hiring, training, mentoring, and feedback.

• Strong technical background in designing and delivering systems using Python, React, TypeScript, Flask/FastAPI, Redux, NoSQL, and serverless architectures.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, including AWS, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
• Experience in designing for scalability and supportability.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with experience partnering with product management.
• Passionate about process improvement and agile methodologies.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of hire.
