Manager, Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of high-performing software engineers.

• Collaborate closely with Product Management to outline strategic roadmaps.

• Direct system design, architecture, and technical decision-making for scalable cloud-based applications.

• Oversee the delivery of software solutions, ensuring quality and alignment with business goals.

• Promote the adoption of engineering best practices, including agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).

• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance applications, development processes, architecture, and infrastructure.

• Work in tandem with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to create innovative solutions.

• Coach and support engineers through technical challenges and their career growth.

• Assess emerging technologies to improve scalability and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience as a software engineer.

• 3-5 years of experience leading a team of engineers is preferred.

• 5+ years of experience with modern technology stacks.

• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, including testing automation, code reviews, telemetry, iterative delivery, and DevOps.

• Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools, REST API development, serverless architecture, containerization, infrastructure as code (IaC), public cloud, application observability, GraphQL, and/or event-driven architecture.

• Solid grounding in formal architecture, design patterns, and best practices.

• Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools, code generation models, or machine learning-driven insights.
