Manager, Software Development Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Oversee a Delinea Sprint team comprised of software engineers, managing both personnel and the projects they undertake.

• Specifically, lead a development team of 4 engineers dedicated to enhancing just-in-time access on the Delinea Platform through the Request Approval service and the user-centric Inbox service.

• Strategically plan, execute, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software projects within budget constraints.

• This role combines leadership with hands-on development responsibilities; you are expected to remain actively involved in coding while guiding the team and managing the roadmap.

• Employ Scrum methodologies to collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, UX, Dev, Arch), comprehending requirements, proposing technical solutions, and contributing to architectural decisions.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing and operating Agile Sprint teams, demonstrating exceptional technical and interpersonal skills.

• At least 8 years of professional experience in software development.

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and web application technologies.

• Strong design capabilities and comprehensive experience throughout the software development lifecycle are essential.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with engineers, stakeholders, and senior management.

• Experience in developing and hosting SaaS and/or cloud-based applications.

• Familiarity with large codebases and unit testing, including mock frameworks and automated testing.

• Willingness and adaptability to embrace AI-enabled development and processes.
