Manager – Software Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Offer technical guidance and vision to lead a team of engineers in the design, delivery, and support of resilient APIs and back-end services.

• Collaborate with product management, business development teams, and various cross-functional teams to create, develop, and validate technology solutions focused on outcomes.

• Drive the team towards achieving ambitious objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and promote continuous improvement.

• Mentor, coach, train, and assist team members and others in their professional and personal development.

• Manage strategic engagements with executives, end-users, technical analysts, and application designers.

• Establish data requirements and structures to address critical business inquiries and tackle complex business challenges.

• Facilitate discussions regarding data maturity, digital transformation, and functional/industry strategies.

• Suggest suitable technology solutions.

• Deliver and maintain core mission-critical software platforms utilizing modern tools, techniques, and cloud-native services.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience managing cross-functional engineering teams in a dynamic environment.

• Proven history of delivering tailored technical solutions while balancing complexity, performance, and maintainability.

• Strong technical knowledge in contemporary tools, techniques, and cloud-native services.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities.

• Over 5 years of experience in Machine Learning and Python programming.

• Familiarity with Gen-AI and LLM technologies.

• Previous experience in NLP and predictive modeling.

• Knowledge in the insurance, mortgage, or financial sectors is a plus.

• 12–16 years of professional experience, including 4–5 years in a leadership role.
