This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead a high-performing team of technical sales specialists
• Drive strategic growth and enhance market share for Thermo Fisher Scientific's cutting-edge product offerings
• Formulate and implement effective sales strategies
• Offer technical guidance and expertise
• Build and nurture robust customer relationships across academic, pharmaceutical, biotech, and clinical sectors
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pinpoint growth opportunities
• Execute commercial strategies effectively
• Ensure the success of customers
• Mentor and develop talent within the team
• Oversee sales pipelines
• Achieve consistent revenue growth
• Uphold Thermo Fisher's standing as a leader in the field of science
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of progressive sales experience in life sciences, biotech, or related scientific sectors
• Preferred academic backgrounds include Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Engineering, or other relevant scientific disciplines
• Prior experience in people management and team leadership is advantageous
• Strong technical knowledge of applicable product portfolios and their uses
• Proven track record of achieving sales objectives and fostering business expansion
• Expertise in strategic planning, forecasting, and managing sales pipelines
• Advanced proficiency in CRM tools, especially Salesforce.com
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in effectively collaborating within organizations
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Capability to mentor and develop team members
• Skilled in building and sustaining customer relationships at all levels
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
• Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills may be beneficial

• Experience in capital equipment sales is preferred
