Manager, Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Facilitate and execute Scrum events.

• Eliminate obstacles and encourage collaboration.

• Assist the Product Owner.

• Propel continuous improvement and ensure the successful application of the Scrum framework.

• Mentor Scrum Masters and Product Owners on agile principles, values, and optimal practices for project and product management.

• Create budgets and resource planning strategies based on team velocity, historical data, and constraints.

• Assess the volume of work that can be accomplished within designated project timelines.

• Ensure that risk assessments encompass risk identification, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans for Scrum initiatives.

• Develop Scrum processes and protocols for backlog management, prioritization, and user story refinement.

• Anticipate team capacity and delivery capabilities for upcoming projects to establish realistic product release expectations.

• Create and execute a common language and framework for team collaboration.

• Enhance team capacity and explore potential bottlenecks to proactively resolve issues.

• Incorporate adaptability, transparency, and customer collaboration into departmental processes to foster continuous learning and experimentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional experience.

• Skilled in problem-solving and decision-making.

• Proficient in collaboration and teamwork.

• Embrace a growth mindset, agility, and personal development for oneself and others.

• Capable of effective execution and delivery, including planning, execution, and support.

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) preferred.

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
