This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee quality systems and compliance functions for Small Animal operations
β’ Lead audits, inspections, investigations, and the implementation of corrective actions
β’ Evaluate quality performance and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives
β’ Ensure adherence to regulatory, animal welfare, and company standards
β’ Collaborate cross-functionally to foster operational excellence and a culture of quality
β’ Guide staff development and provide insights on quality processes and best practices
β’ Assist in business growth initiatives, risk management efforts, and the integration of quality for new programs or operational changes
β’ Aid in the ongoing documentation and management of organizational risks and mitigation strategies
β’ Ensure all necessary licenses are secured for compliant operations and maintain accurate records and renewals
β’ Travel to international locations as necessary
β’ Execute additional duties as assigned
β’ Bachelor's degree in life sciences preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
β’ Over 5 years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or quality systems within life sciences, laboratory animal, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or related sectors
β’ Familiarity with animal welfare regulations, AAALAC standards, USDA requirements, and quality management systems
β’ Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
β’ Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
β’ Capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
β’ Ability to multi-task and deliver quality analysis under tight deadlines
β’ Skilled in time management and resource planning
β’ Capable of performing duties with minimal supervision
β’ Willingness to initiate and implement self-development efforts
β’ Advanced capability to interact effectively with clients and regulatory personnel
β’ Ability to work efficiently across state/geographical boundaries
β’ Willingness to travel internationally 25% to 30%
