Manager, Risk Management – AI Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Facilitate workshops and working sessions with GRM process owners to envision processes and outline AI-native future-state concepts.

• Question assumptions and promote the transition toward processes structured around intelligent agents.

• Assist in transforming GRM into an AI-native organization, focusing on judgment, exceptions, and oversight.

• Advocate for Circle’s AI Risk Management framework throughout GRM AI initiatives.

• Ensure that AI-native processes are evaluated for risk, controlled, explainable, auditable, and supported by human-in-the-loop oversight.

• Define GRM’s AI-native vision and target architecture.

• Develop and prioritize reusable AI primitives and shared capabilities.

• Propel the development of critical AI applications from scoping and requirements gathering through to building, testing, launching, adoption, and measuring impact.

• Convert risk and compliance requirements into solution designs, success metrics, and outcomes.

• Collaborate with Circle’s central AI team and AI leaders across the organization.

• Coordinate GRM’s network of AI advocates and hands-on builders.

• Represent GRM objectives in enterprise AI discussions.

• Manage and enhance GRM-level reporting on AI transformation projects, roadmap advancements, impacts, obstacles, and interdependencies.

• Prepare updates and materials for GRM leadership, executive evaluations, and risk committees.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in business process transformation, operational excellence, management consulting, product/program management, or a related field.

• Proven experience in leading process redesign or automation projects that have altered work methodologies.

• Capability to reimagine and streamline complex business processes.

• Strong working knowledge of contemporary AI technologies, including generative AI and agentic / AI-native principles.

• Demonstrated history of applying AI to solve real-world business challenges.

• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives from start to finish.

• Exceptional facilitation and stakeholder management abilities.

• Familiarity with risk management, compliance, financial crime, security, or another regulated, control-oriented sector, or the ability to swiftly establish credibility with risk and compliance stakeholders.

• Strong skills in program and portfolio management.

• A builder’s mindset with comfort in navigating ambiguity.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to create AI solutions with suitable governance, controls, and safeguards.

• Preferred: experience in financial services, fintech, crypto / digital assets, or other regulated environments.

• Preferred: hands-on experience in building or configuring AI solutions using modern low-code / no-code or AI development platforms.

• Preferred: experience collaborating with central or shared AI, data, or platform teams.

• Preferred: knowledge of AI governance and responsible AI frameworks.

• Preferred: background in management consulting, transformation, or operational excellence.

• Preferred: certification or formal training in project/program management, change management, or process improvement.
