This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to enhance applications and guide candidates through the admissions journey.
• Organize and execute events, hold individual meetings, and support campaign objectives along with candidate engagement.
• Establish and maintain personalized relationships with potential candidates.
• Assist candidates throughout the application process while enriching their understanding of educational opportunities.
• Make informed decisions at various stages of the Teach For America selection process and application pipeline.
• Set visions and directions for emerging campus market schools.
• Create strategies for stakeholder engagement and empower alumni and corps members to advocate for the TFA movement.
• Collaborate with teams to evaluate campaign data, pinpoint gaps and opportunities, and devise solutions.
• Identify and source high-potential leaders, developing outreach strategies accordingly.
• Recognize campaign levers such as partnerships with career services and social impact summits.
• Customize communications based on candidates' motivations and interests.
• Initiate and foster relationships with network partners and external stakeholders.
• Take part in selection, confirmation, RT-wide events, and team meetings.
• Stay updated on partner-region educational environments and community needs.
• Adapt to evolving team, regional, and organizational requirements.
• Draft and send follow-up emails to prospects in emerging markets.
• Analyze campaign data in collaboration with the direct manager and Recruitment Manager - Internal.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive campaign and prospect data within the internal CRM.
• Enhance Teach For America’s brand presence within each market.
• Manage resources in accordance with employee policies and expectations.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
• Strong preference for Teach For America alumni status and/or experience in low-income schools.
• Prior recruitment experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in planning, executing, and designing strategies.
• Experience in creating and leading initiatives such as in-person events and campus partnerships.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
• Expertise in building and nurturing relationships across diverse groups.
• Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in one-on-one settings, small groups, and large-scale events.
• Capability to customize messaging for various audiences.
• Commitment to personal and professional growth, feedback, and development.
• Ability to identify opportunities and barriers within strategies and adjust plans with flexibility.
• Working hours aligned with Eastern Standard Time are required.
• Occasional travel will be necessary during peak recruitment periods.
