This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Supervise the process for submitting clinical study quotes, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality, accuracy, and punctuality.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to members of the Proposal Management team.
• Assess quotations for quality and financial precision utilizing pricing tools and matrices.
• Suggest pricing that aligns with financial objectives and organizational priorities.
• Engage in strategy discussions, budget evaluations, and cross-functional improvement meetings.
• Oversee pricing practices to ensure accuracy and relevance pertaining to study types and operations.
• Offer strategic advice on favorable proposals.
• Collaborate with Business Development Directors to confirm that clinical study quotes fulfill requirements.
• Support Business Development presentations and departmental documentation.
• Keep CRM and departmental information updated and accurate.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for both internal and external customers.
• Contribute to Proposals initiatives and execute other assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a discipline related to science, business, or marketing.
• At least 5 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
• A minimum of 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Preferred experience in a contract research and/or research environment.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the specified qualifications.
• Capability to perform calculations and manage budgets for clinical trials.
• Skills to manage Proposal Managers and Associates effectively.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting business, professional, technical, and clinical research materials.
• Competence in writing reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information and address queries from colleagues and clients.
• Skills in solving practical problems and interpreting diverse instructions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
• Quick aptitude for learning new database software.
• Experience with Salesforce and SharePoint is preferred.
• Effective communication skills via phone, video, and email.
