This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the management of Agile software development programs, encompassing application sustainment, enhancements, cybersecurity initiatives, and modernization efforts.
• Organize bi-weekly work-planning and priority-setting meetings with Government representatives.
• Maintain and oversee the product backlog accessible to the Government, ensuring it includes priorities, milestones, deployment timelines, velocity, and progress in alignment with the program roadmap.
• Identify, evaluate, monitor, and mitigate both program and technical risks; keep the project risk register updated and regularly report risk statuses to the Government.
• Collaborate with the TPOC/COR, Government technical stakeholders, developers, architects, cybersecurity teams, and other members of the project team.
• Supervise schedules, milestones, dependencies, change management actions, software releases, and overall delivery performance.
• Prepare, review, and present required CDRLs, including the Project Management Plan, backlog-related deliverables, status reports, and other program documentation.
• Provide management oversight for projects that operate under DoD RMF and STIG compliance standards.
• Assist in Government reviews, status meetings, release planning, issue escalation, and management reporting.
• Foster effective Agile execution while ensuring visibility into costs, schedules, performance, staffing, risks, and dependencies related to the Government.
• A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in managing Agile software development projects within a NIWC or DON enterprise environment.
• Experience in supporting programs with a public-facing, secure web presence.
• Background in managing projects that are subject to DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and STIG compliance.
• Must be located in the United States; work outside the U.S. is not permissible.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Background Investigation.
• Must be a direct employee of Nationwide IT Services; 1099 contractors will not be considered.
