This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Oversee financial administrative planning and control for large and complex development programs.

• Create and sustain the program Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) for earned value and project management.

• Develop a Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS) along with a CWBS Dictionary.

• Evaluate program cost and schedule performance, identify trends, and supply information to the Project Leadership Team for corrective measures.

• Ensure effective implementation of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) utilizing standardized processes and tools.

• Report on compliance reviews and periodic process audits, which include DCAA, DCMA, and Joint Surveillance Process audits.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and consistent program margin positions.

• Engage with external customers and prepare, submit, and review customer cost and schedule data items.

• Act as the focal point for cost capture.

• Establish and uphold the program cost baseline.

• Assess performance against the established baseline.

• Integrate regular status updates and Estimate to Complete (ETC) from Control Account Managers (CAMs).

• Lead program teams through the month-end closing process.

• Reconcile data with accounting systems alongside project cost and schedule data.

• Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.

• Prepare and analyze Estimates at Complete (EACs) and extend financial support to assigned program teams.

• Ensure adherence to the Mission Systems EV System Description.

• Coordinate with government and internal EV auditors.

• Assist in program reviews.

• Contribute to proposal development.

• Adapt to unforeseen events, meet critical deadlines with high-quality results, and support the objectives and initiatives of Mission Systems.

• Collaborate with Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and Operations departments.

• Engage with upper management at Collins Aerospace and external customers.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

• Active DoD Secret clearance required from day one.

• Experience in program controls and Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

• Familiarity with Earned Value Cost Engines/Software.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially extensive Excel usage is preferred.

• Understanding of corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is preferred.

• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement concepts is preferred.

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.

• Experience in delivering presentations to large groups and leadership is preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Team-oriented with a solid understanding of company business systems, policies, contracting processes, and earned value management techniques.
