This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take ownership of the product strategy, long-term roadmap, and investment priorities for the holemaking category, which encompasses competitive positioning and portfolio structure.
• Propel active product development initiatives, ensuring alignment of customer requirements, competitive benchmarks, and business objectives with sales, AEs, and customers.
• Convert customer, application, and market insights into well-defined product requirements, compelling value propositions, and robust business cases.
• Act as the primary business and customer advocate throughout the product development process, collaborating with engineering, project management, operations, and marketing from conception to launch.
• Develop the holemaking roadmap by reaffirming current priorities, identifying unmet needs in growth segments, and defining the next phase of investment.
• Support brand expansion and strategically position the category for growth in Europe.
• Manage the lifecycle of the category, which includes product refreshes, rationalization, and end-of-life decisions.
• Monitor SKU, category, and market performance to guide roadmap adjustments and incorporate post-launch insights into prioritization.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, product strategy, or a related commercial/technical role.
• A strong foundation in customer-focused product strategy, market analysis, and business case formulation.
• Proven capability to influence decisions and steer direction within a matrixed organization without formal authority.
• An analytical, structured thinker with robust commercial insight, financial fluency, and the ability to synthesize diverse inputs into clear strategies and recommendations.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills — adept at engaging with sales, customers, and marketing, and subsequently translating insights into documented directives.
• A strong interest in mechanical or industrial products, with the ability to engage credibly with technical teams, AEs, and customers.
