• Develop and implement an annual marketing strategy along with quarterly tactical plans for designated Tier 1 and 2 adoption states, producing collateral and messaging that aligns with the national strategy, including necessary customizations for the state market.
• Establish a messaging framework to ensure consistent product positioning and messaging that distinguishes Great Minds, which can be utilized by all customer-facing teams.
• Formulate marketing strategies informed by audience insights obtained through research and close collaboration with both the math product team and the sales team.
• Maintain messaging consistency across all materials and communications aimed at customers.
• Collaborate with the National Campaigns team and Regional Marketing Managers to implement integrated campaigns that foster growth.
• Build and sustain strong relationships by working collaboratively with the math product team, content and editorial staff, and other marketing team members.
• Work closely with Product Managers for math to convey new product features and benefits to the sales team and collaborate on developing training, resources, and tools that facilitate selling.
• Partner with the marketing events team and math product team to establish Great Minds as a leader in math curriculum at national, regional, and state-level conferences.
• Strategize and collaborate with design and web marketing teams to produce engaging customer-facing marketing presentations, web pages, and collateral.
• Align campaigns with various stages of the sales funnel, taking into account influencers, decision-makers, and existing customers in messaging.
• Collaborate with the digital marketing team on content for both organic and paid social media placements.
• Engage in market research projects to gain insights into the national or state-level math curriculum landscape.
• Analyze industry trends and customer insights to guide product positioning and marketing strategies.
• Integrate research findings to influence the product roadmap.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in creating and executing innovative strategic marketing plans for the K–12 education sector, with specific experience in marketing math curriculum and at least 1 year of managing a high-performing team.
• Experience in launching new products within the education market and familiarity with state and district curriculum adoptions.
• Proficient knowledge and experience with CRM platforms (such as HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience in collaborating across an organization and with functional teams to achieve common goals.
• Comfortable asking questions to enhance understanding of educational products and pedagogical changes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in managing relationships and priorities among various stakeholders.
• Ability to switch between strategic projects and tactical activities effectively.
