Manager, Product Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• 3Pillar acts as a partner in AI transformation, dedicated to assisting enterprises in the creation of AI-native products.

• Establish high-performing product development teams that impress clients through effective governance oversight.

• Guarantee excellence in product delivery and foster accountability for client satisfaction.

• Lead a globally distributed team that collaborates with various stakeholders.

• Evaluate success via a Delivery scorecard linked to client satisfaction and account results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in full-cycle product development.

• Proficient in implementing Agile software development methodologies and guiding teams in building digital products utilizing these methods.

• Experience and knowledge in creating and managing actionable backlogs.

• Capability to collaborate with product managers in evaluating business and market requirements and translating them into actionable backlogs.

• Comprehensive understanding of project planning, resource allocation, and delivery.

• Executive-level proficiency in both written and verbal communication.

• Proven success in communicating with, influencing, and managing expectations of technical and business stakeholders.

• Data-driven and systematic approach to accountability in delivery.

• Exhibit a positive, can-do attitude.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant product leadership experience, with a demonstrated history of successful product launches.

• At least 3 years of managerial experience in successfully delivering agile products.

• A minimum of 1 year of consulting experience, ideally within a professional services firm or internal consultancy for executive stakeholders.

• Over 1 year of experience in hiring, managing, and developing individual contributors.

• Familiarity with utilizing quantitative and qualitative data to guide design decisions and instigate change.

• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.

• Willingness to travel occasionally (~1-2 times per year) to 3Pillar locations and client sites to support ongoing team and client engagement.

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field is advantageous, but not mandatory.
