
Manager, Post Audit Medical Records Operations – Financial Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage relationships with medical record vendors and other record retrieval providers.
• Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics, service-level expectations, and operational effectiveness.
• Lead the resolution of vendor issues, manage escalations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives, business reviews, and performance assessments.
• Oversee the management of medical record fees, including invoice reviews, payment processes, and compliance with contractual pricing and fee schedules.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and outstanding vendor balances; investigate billing discrepancies and coordinate corrective measures.
• Support budget management and initiatives aimed at cost containment.
• Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports covering invoices, fees paid, accounts receivable aging, vendor performance, productivity, and financial performance of the program.
• Analyze trends and provide actionable recommendations to leadership while maintaining dashboards and reporting tools.
• Identify opportunities for workflow improvements, support automation initiatives, implement best practices, and lead projects focused on operational enhancement and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, vendor agreements, HIPAA regulations, and internal policies.
• Develop standard operating procedures and operational documentation; monitor controls to ensure accuracy and reduce risk.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members.
• Assist with audit requests and regulatory compliance activities.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in healthcare operations, medical records management, vendor management, finance, or a related area.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proficient in managing vendor relationships, invoicing processes, and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations, medical record retrieval processes, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in vendor relationship management.
• Expertise in financial analysis and cost management.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable and invoice processing.
• Skills in reporting and data analytics.
• Experience in process improvement and automation.
• Proficient in project management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage escalations effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.

• Base salary range of $75,100–$123,400.
