Manager, Partnerships – Business Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, negotiate, and promote innovative partnership initiatives for leading brands within the complete Recording Academy portfolio.

• Regularly prepare pitch decks, one sheets, budget grids, financial summaries, deal outlines, and maintain updates on pipeline and forecasts.

• Keep informed about market data and emerging trends.

• Work in collaboration with internal teams to design creative partner programs, events, and promotional activities.

• Achieve and surpass financial objectives established by the Sales team.

• Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers among potential brand partners.

• Identify and participate in significant networking events and functions.

• Consult with legal personnel regarding contracts as necessary.

• Partner with Brand Marketing on the creative development, implementation, and design of all sponsorship print materials utilized for revenue generation.

• Create crucial sponsorship deliverables and agreements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• MBA is preferred.

• Over 2 years of experience in a sales role, focusing on driving sales and building enduring relationships.

• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding financial sponsorship goals through direct selling.

• Experience in negotiating and finalizing new sponsorship agreements and accounts.

• Proficiency in creating PowerPoint pitch decks, contracts, and agreements.

• An ambitious self-starter capable of managing multiple sponsorship activities simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.

• Must possess confidence and articulate communication skills, both written and verbal.

• A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across all departments.

• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of integrity to protect confidential information.
