
Manager, Operational Resilience – Technology Currency

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resilience initiatives that support essential applications and services.
• Enhance the resiliency, recoverability, stability, and preparedness of critical technological services.
• Identify operational risks, gaps in resiliency, and technology vulnerabilities, and spearhead remediation efforts.
• Direct Live DR, recovery testing, failover exercises, restoration testing, and resilience validation tasks.
• Organize recovery planning, dependency mapping, remediation, and resilience deliverables across the U.S. P&BB and Wealth Technology portfolio.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, cloud, business, risk, audit, and enterprise resiliency teams.
• Develop governance processes, metrics, dashboards, and reports to assess resilience posture and track initiative progress.
• Convey technical and resilience-related information to senior leaders, business stakeholders, and executive audiences.
• Promote stakeholder accountability for commitments, milestones, and resilience objectives.
• Manage technology currency and end-of-life remediation projects.
• Decrease technology debt and enhance operational sustainability.
• Track currency metrics, remediation plans, risks, and enterprise commitments.
• Lead a small team, establishing priorities, mentoring, enforcing accountability, and supporting professional development.
• Facilitate meetings, executive reviews, and risk assessment discussions.
• Create executive-level reports and presentations.
• Encourage accountability, ownership, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Proven experience in business continuity planning, disaster recovery, operational resilience, technology risk, infrastructure operations, service delivery, or technology governance.
• Familiarity with disaster recovery testing, recovery planning, resiliency frameworks, and operational readiness practices.
• Experience in leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives involving technology, infrastructure, cloud, and business stakeholders.
• Understanding of technology currency management, technical debt reduction, application lifecycle management, and end-of-life remediation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Capacity to manage ambiguity and achieve results.
• Previous experience in people leadership is preferred.
• A technical background in application development, infrastructure, cloud technologies, or technology operations is advantageous.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deliverables effectively.
• Skill in building relationships and influencing stakeholders within a complex, matrixed organization.
• Proficiency in communicating technical concepts clearly to executive, business, and non-technical audiences.
