This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Converting revenue forecasts into usable cash and collaborating with Water Programs to establish the grantable water expense framework.
• Maintaining equilibrium between donor limitations and inventory capacity at the portfolio level, identifying risks and facilitating solutions when necessary.
• Developing and sustaining a multi-year deployment model to create substantial and multi-year pitch opportunities with Revenue stakeholders while pinpointing long-term prospects and risks.
• Overseeing the biannual cross-functional initiative with Revenue Operations and Accounting to guarantee the accurate and reliable allocation of funds to water projects.
• Tracking organizational cash flow, including escalating cash risks and implementing strategic liquidation timing of funds.
• Taking charge of the monitoring, forecasting, and reporting of the organization’s operational reserves, ensuring that leadership is informed of emerging risks and opportunities.
• Creating and maintaining a multi-year investment and liquidity model that shapes the organization’s investment strategy by predicting potential returns, stress-testing risk/reward trade-offs across allocation scenarios, and comprehending the liquidity implications of each.
• Assisting in investment tracking and reporting in collaboration with the Senior Director of Strategic Finance.
• A Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business, finance, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in various strategic, analytical, and finance positions.
• A finance background with a solid understanding of financial principles, preferably including experience in cash management and nonprofit restricted funds.
• Advanced skills in Google and Microsoft Suite, particularly Google Sheets and Excel.
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar systems is preferred.
• Adaptability to systems and tools, with a proven ability to utilize AI to enhance workflow efficiencies.
• A demonstrated history of collaborating effectively across diverse teams to address complex and ambiguous challenges.
• Capability to independently manage and advance multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.
• Proficiency in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Exceptional quantitative abilities, with the capacity to transition between detailed and high-level analysis, a passion for guiding data-driven strategies, and the skill to translate data into actionable insights.
• A meticulous attention to detail, consistently verifying work, and experience delivering outstanding results.
