This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Accountable for representing National Accounts to designated group purchasing organizations and select Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).
• Requires outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal, along with motivation, a professional demeanor, credibility, flexibility, and the capacity to listen and understand the business and customer needs.
• Responsible for developing and negotiating profitable contracts with tailored programs as necessary.
• Oversees customer relationships and business management.
• Serves as the primary communication conduit between National Account customers and all departments at Fresenius Kabi.
• Updates the Sales Force on contractual status and supports their initiatives in engaging GPO/IDN memberships.
• Engages and communicates with influential thought leaders and committee members within their IDN/GPO and customer networks.
• Identifies and cultivates new market opportunities as needed, such as oncology distributors, retail, alternate sites, wholesalers/GPOs, and individual health networks.
• Acknowledges and adapts to shifts in the customer's national accounts landscape.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required (preferably with National Account experience).
• Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare acute market, formularies, and drug distribution is essential.
• Strong skills in contract negotiation are required.
• Must possess the ability to communicate effectively and build solid relationships across various levels and roles within the IDN organization and GPOs.
• Must be willing and able to travel frequently by air and auto.
• Must meet all requirements for access to customer sites, including maintaining active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements (this may include COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccinations).
