Manager, Learning Deployment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete deployment of global Learning & Development initiatives utilizing CMS, GLMS, virtual classroom platforms, Degreed, MTM, and collaboration tools.

• Manage pre-launch, launch, and post-launch processes to guarantee timely and accurate delivery.

• Supervise collection sites, sub-sites, pages, evaluation links, reporting requirements, content inventory, archiving, retirement, and annual maintenance.

• Provide guidance to stakeholders on content and deployment standards, naming conventions, tagging, testing, and quality assurance.

• Collaborate with ITS, Digital HR, and other stakeholders to address technical challenges and enhance platform capabilities.

• Advise stakeholders on deployment procedures, standards, and industry best practices.

• Act as the main point of contact for deployment inquiries, escalations, and operational needs.

• Lead extensive, cross-functional deployment projects from planning to post-launch assistance.

• Oversee schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, communications, and progress reporting.

• Coordinate Train-the-Facilitator, Virtual Classroom, and Instructor-Led Training deployments.

• Offer platform guidance and technical support to content developers, learning teams, facilitators, and content consumers.

• Facilitate testing, troubleshooting, technical producer requirements, and the implementation of new platforms and enhancements.

• Manage team workload and capacity, chair meetings, prioritize resources, and encourage documentation and knowledge sharing.

• Identify and execute continuous improvements to deployment processes, workflows, consistency, and quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in learning deployment, learning technology, learning operations, or a related Learning & Development function.

• Proven experience leading the deployment of learning solutions across various platforms and learning modalities.

• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, content management platforms, virtual classroom technologies, and digital learning tools.

• Experience in managing complex or cross-functional learning deployment projects.

• Strong technical acumen and capability to gain expertise across learning technology platforms.

• Robust project and program management abilities.

• Capacity to juggle multiple priorities, stakeholders, deadlines, and dependencies.

• Excellent organizational, planning, prioritization, and coordination skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to cultivate collaborative relationships across global and cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

• Capability to work independently while providing leadership and direction within a collaborative team setting.

• Willingness to occasionally work outside standard business hours to accommodate global teams and time zones.

• Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, virtual, globally distributed environment.
