Manager, Laboratory Project Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery of clinical laboratory operations.

• Address and resolve operational challenges.

• Enhance team capabilities.

• Supervise the daily functions of the project management team under the guidance of the Director of Project Management.

• Serve as the primary escalation contact for clients regarding ICON Central Laboratories’ services.

• Direct, manage, mentor, and coach team members.

• Uphold and promote ICON’s core values.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement aimed at optimizing processes, enhancing business value, and fulfilling client needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as life sciences or healthcare.

• Prior project management experience in a laboratory or clinical research environment.

• Strong background in clinical laboratory operations.

• Capability to manage multiple competing priorities.

• Exceptional leadership abilities.

• Proficient in mentoring and coaching team members effectively.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capacity to act as a primary escalation point for clients.

• Willingness to travel as necessary, around 20% of the time.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
