This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +11 more states.
• Take ownership of and drive the global strategic vision for the account, which includes formulating business plans and establishing clear action steps to achieve program growth, retention, and client satisfaction.
• Cultivate and sustain executive-level relationships across various business units and regions, ensuring strong connectivity with key stakeholders in Payment Operations, Finance, Disputes, Product, and Technology.
• Collaborate intensively with internal partners across Product, Risk, Servicing, Technology, Legal, TLS, and Strategic Partnerships to deliver customized solutions and guarantee operational excellence.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the client's industry, platform model, organizational objectives, and shifting priorities, particularly in the travel and digital commerce sector, especially within the corporate travel agency landscape.
• Design and conduct regular business reviews, effectively communicating performance metrics, insights, and opportunities in a clear and persuasive manner.
• Consult with clients using a value-focused approach, articulating the Global Corporate Payments value proposition and quantifying the business impact.
• Identify and execute on cross-sell opportunities within B2B Payment Solutions, Virtual Payments, and T&E card products.
• Meet portfolio growth and retention targets.
• Act as the point of escalation and resolution, utilizing structured action plans and project management tools as necessary.
• Analyze client financial performance and P&Ls to propose strategies for enhancing profitability, optimizing working capital, and improving efficiency.
• Ensure an exceptional client experience by consistently meeting or exceeding contractual obligations, SLAs, and service expectations.
• Utilize travel agency expertise to design payment and servicing solutions customized for corporations with significant travel requirements, including supplier negotiations, booking workflows, duty of care considerations, and cost-optimization strategies.
• Proven track record of establishing relationships and influencing at the executive level, including presenting business cases and performance reviews to senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional projects across virtual teams, regions, and internal departments.
• Proficient in navigating ambiguous or shifting client needs, employing a proactive and strategic approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in developing and advancing a pipeline of opportunities through strategic, solution-oriented selling.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to translate complex data into clear, engaging recommendations.
• Expertise in developing strategic plans and action plans tailored to client-specific objectives.
• High level of professionalism, responsiveness, and customer service orientation.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the corporate travel industry or travel technology sector, with familiarity with the travel payment requirements of large and multinational organizations.
• Comprehensive understanding of the travel agency operating model, travel technology and infrastructure, and the integration of travel payment solutions.
• Proven experience managing global clients with complex, matrixed structures, preferably in the travel, digital, technology, or marketplace sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Global Corporate Payments products, encompassing both B2B and T&E payment solutions.
• Familiarity with or experience in Virtual Payment solutions is an advantage.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret and influence financial levers, including incentive structures, pricing, and margin drivers.
• Capability to work virtually, as well as the necessity to reside in and travel within the designated Tri-State/Northeast/Mid-Atlantic territory.
