This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create a robust and sustainable organization that promotes high levels of employee engagement by attracting and nurturing top talent and recognizing outstanding performance among teams and individuals.
• Cultivate a team of sales representatives through consistent coaching and knowledge sharing, providing feedback and career advancement opportunities, while fostering a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
• Assist the team in meeting quarterly pipeline objectives, booking goals, and sales accepted opportunities by advocating the value of Workiva’s platform to existing customers and new prospects.
• Ensure that team members receive clear guidance on developing a qualified pipeline within both new and existing accounts.
• Communicate and collaborate with leaders and peers to achieve success collectively in a matrixed organization.
• Identify knowledge gaps within the team and deliver training when necessary.
• Maintain open lines of communication with Senior Directors of Sales Development to stay informed of the continuously evolving focus needed to meet the demands of the sales organization and Workiva.
• Navigate through internal departments and build cross-functional relationships to align with global strategies and initiatives.
• Forge strong relationships with sales managers and ensure that TDRs on the team conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with each Account Executive they support.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that are in sync with market trends and customer requirements.
• Comprehend customer needs to effectively guide the team through complex sales cycles and provide actionable insights regarding customers.
• Build and sustain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and leadership.
• Collaborate with product marketing, sales, and finance to utilize data and metrics that inform selling strategies and decision-making processes.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for process enhancements based on industry best practices.
• Utilize data and metrics for effective sales forecasting and pipeline management.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in Sales Development and/or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct management experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Financial Services landscape.
• Proven ability to successfully scale inside sales teams in a high-growth setting.
• Proficient understanding of the Software as a Service business model.
• Demonstrated skills in coaching and leadership.
• Ability to inspire team members and influence others effectively.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of Workiva products and internal procedures through a commitment to continuous training.
• Excellent skills in time and territory management.
• On Target Earnings (OTE) range in the US: $156,000.00 - $253,000.00 annually.
• Eligible for commission based on sales performance.
• Restricted Stock Units awarded at the time of hire.
