This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage daily technology operations and act as a vital technical resource for IT infrastructure, networking, systems administration, vendor management, and end-user assistance.
• Supervise daily IT activities to guarantee system reliability and performance.
• Address escalated technical issues by liaising with vendors and internal teams.
• Provide comprehensive oversight for hardware, software, and systems applications, including SharePoint, Paylocity HRIS, and Smartsheet.
• Assist with user account management, permissions, system access, and onboarding/offboarding procedures.
• Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, configurations, and operational workflows.
• Aid in the development and enforcement of IT policies, standards, and best practices.
• Support organizational technology initiatives and operational enhancement projects.
• Coordinate the implementation of system upgrades, integrations, and new technology solutions.
• Collaborate with department leaders to identify operational requirements and propose technology solutions.
• Assess emerging technologies and process enhancements.
• Engage in strategic planning related to IT operations and infrastructure.
• Act as the primary liaison for external IT vendors, consultants, and service providers.
• Oversee vendor deliverables, service requests, maintenance schedules, and issue resolution.
• Track vendor performance and assist with compliance regarding contracts and service-level agreements.
• Work with the supervisor on technology purchases and renewals.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, system monitoring, and operational risk management.
• Assist with compliance matters related to data privacy, system access, and organizational policies.
• Manage security updates, patches, and operational safeguards.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in IT operations or systems support.
• Experience in coordinating with external technology vendors.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based IT infrastructure, collaborative platforms, systems administration, and operational support practices.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Awareness of cybersecurity best practices and operational risk management.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-171/Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically for all-staff meetings.
• Preferred certifications include CompTIA Security+, Microsoft certifications, and/or cloud platform certifications, such as Microsoft Information Security Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, or Microsoft Certified Power Platform Developer Associate.
