Manager II, Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of mid to senior-level software engineers, offering guidance on intricate technical challenges.

• Spearhead the planning, development, and execution of various software projects.

• Ensure compliance with project schedules and quality benchmarks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synchronize software development initiatives with business goals.

• Promote ongoing enhancement in software development methodologies, including code quality, testing, and deployment.

• Perform regular performance assessments.

• Assist team members in their professional growth.

• Contribute to the strategic planning of the software engineering department, focusing on resource distribution and technology investments.

• Mentor and cultivate engineering talent.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in software development.

• A minimum of 2 years in a management or leadership position.

• Proficiency in software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.

• Strong project management capabilities and experience handling complex software projects.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to make data-informed decisions.

• Ability to operate computer equipment.

• Capability to speak and hear effectively.

• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs.

• Finger dexterity.

• Experience with GoLang, Flutter, AWS, Postgres, MCP built on FastMCP, and AgentCore Runtime.
