Manager, HIM Application/Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee Health Information Management (HIM) applications and data oversight.

• Supervise HIM System Analysts who support all HIM services, functions, reports, and analytical data.

• Manage HIM analytics reporting, HIM applications, and HIM access.

• Act as the primary HIM liaison with IT to guarantee successful BHSF projects, new system implementations, system enhancements, and proper maintenance.

• Ensure a smooth transition of HIM services associated with acquisitions and/or new services.

• Plan and manage HIM projects, which include documenting issues, follow-ups, and resolutions.

• Assist BHSF projects and initiatives that require Project Manager knowledge and expertise.

• Set up appropriate system user access.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in HIM Administration, Health Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering is required.

• A Master’s degree in Information Science (MIS) is preferred.

• Certification as a Project Manager Professional (PMP/PRINCE II) is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a large, multi-hospital health system is required.

• Extensive knowledge of HL7 interface applications, EMR integration, database structures and schemas, and computer scripting.

• Proven experience as a project administrator in the information technology field.

• Strong technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, multitasking abilities, and attention to detail.

• Outstanding client-facing, internal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• High level of computer proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive demeanor and exemplary customer service.

• Ability to work autonomously and complete tasks within established instructions, routines, and accepted practices.
