This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of Veralto’s global tax strategy.
• Aid in global tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border structuring, transfer pricing, cash management, and legal entity initiatives.
• Foster relationships across Corporate Development, Treasury, Controllership, Legal, FP&A, and operational teams.
• Collaborate on global tax initiatives and support rationalization efforts.
• Work alongside operating companies on tax compliance, tax benefits and risks, and operational decisions.
• Contribute to M&A due diligence, pre- and post-transaction structuring, and financing activities.
• Assist with transfer pricing initiatives, operating model design, value chain transformation, and controversy matters.
• Support global cash management efforts, including intercompany cash flows, cash repatriation, and intercompany loans.
• Carry out due diligence and transaction planning with external business partners and tax advisors.
• Oversee the establishment or elimination of legal entities and related documentation.
• Manage external advisory support, budgets, and ensure timely accruals.
• Enhance the use of technology and automation to boost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with and refinement of tax policies and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in cross-border structuring involving U.S. and international tax regulations and global tax planning concepts.
• Proven experience operating within a complex global enterprise and/or providing advice to such organizations through a major accounting or law firm.
• Solid understanding of US tax principles and US tax accounting rules in accordance with ASC740.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Experience in M&A tax, including due diligence and pre-acquisition or post-acquisition planning.
• Exposure to transfer pricing, supply chain planning, or value chain transformation.
• Knowledge of financing structuring or global cash management.
• Familiarity with tax technology, automation, or transformation solutions such as Alteryx.
