Manager, Geospatial Training & Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage support models, professional services offerings, service delivery processes, and training initiatives that assist customers in adopting and optimizing the Trimble ecosystem and related technology solutions.

• Lead and cultivate the Geospatial Support, Training, Professional Services, and Technology Enablement team, fostering accountability, capability, and a robust customer-first culture.

• Define and consistently enhance the customer support and training experience through responsiveness, communication, consistency, professionalism, and technical excellence.

• Collaborate closely with sales teams and other internal stakeholders to synchronize support and training efforts with customer requirements and business goals.

• Interact directly with customers of varying sizes to comprehend workflow challenges, offer strategic advice, and nurture long-term customer relationships.

• Identify opportunities to enhance workflow adoption, customer outcomes, operational efficiency, and recurring service revenue within the Geospatial business.

• Assist in pinpointing practical and responsible ways that AI and emerging technologies can enhance customer support, training efficiency, internal workflows, and the overall customer experience.

• Act as a visible leader who can navigate complex customer or team situations and take charge when necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Progressive leadership experience in managing a financially successful professional services business, including technical support, training, customer success, or a related area.

• Strongly preferred: Experience in building, managing, or expanding a financially successful professional services organization or a recurring service-based revenue model.

• Background in Construction, Survey, Geospatial technology, GIS, UAS, or another workflow-driven technical industry.

• Proven ability to lead technical teams while maintaining high standards of customer experience and operational performance.

• Experience in supporting customer technology adoption, training initiatives, workflow improvements, or long-term technology utilization.

• Excellent communication, coaching, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Capacity to translate customer needs and operational insights into scalable processes and service enhancements.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Trimble solutions or similar geospatial and workflow technology platforms.
