Manager, ERP Engineering – EDI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee ERP integration engineering for SAP S/4HANA and associated systems.

• Convert business process requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions utilizing SAP BTP Integration Suite.

• Manage the complete integration lifecycle, encompassing architecture, interface specifications, development standards, deployment, monitoring, incident prevention, root cause analysis, recovery, and ongoing enhancement.

• Develop reusable integration capabilities across APIs, iFlows, events, B2B/EDI, IDoc, OData, SOAP, REST, MFT, and hybrid environments.

• Ensure connectivity, auditability, reconciliation, and security measures are upheld.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to integration teams.

• Coordinate delivery efforts between onsite and offshore teams.

• Prioritize production support and release management activities.

• Facilitate alignment among business, application, infrastructure, and vendor stakeholders.

• Promote AI-enhanced integration engineering through generative AI, intelligent automation, AI agents, anomaly detection, expedited development, and enhanced incident response.

• Propel measurable enhancements in reliability, delivery quality, operational visibility, and controlled execution for critical business data flows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10–14+ years of experience in SAP Integration, including SAP PI/PO, SAP BTP Integration Suite, and enterprise integration delivery.

• Strong expertise in SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, API Management, IBM MFT, IBM MQ, Event Mesh, and B2B/EDI integrations.

• Practical experience with REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, EDI, SFTP, AS2, APIs, message mapping, and troubleshooting integration issues.

• Proven track record in leading integration teams, managing releases, production support, incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.

• Solid understanding of SAP business processes, including FICO, OTC, PTP, sales, billing, master data, and financial integrations.

• Experience with cloud and hybrid integration architectures, API gateways, observability, security, and integration governance.

• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, AI Agents, RAG, LLMs, prompt engineering, and enterprise AI integrations.

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with S/4HANA and in the Fashion/Retail sector is preferred.
