This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide leadership and strategic guidance for Tegria’s Epic Technical Team.
• Oversee and manage a group of technical experts supporting Epic environments across various customer engagements.
• Establish priorities and make operational choices that align with departmental goals.
• Manage team performance, encompassing hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development planning.
• Create and execute operational plans, tools, and processes to facilitate service delivery.
• Cultivate and manage client relationships, collaborating with customer leaders to guarantee service delivery.
• Coordinate and carry out work across single or multiple customer engagements.
• Monitor and document outcomes utilizing KPIs, impact analysis, and formal project closure materials.
• Mentor team members and client counterparts to ensure successful delivery.
• Act as a representative of the organization in sales and business development initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one Epic technical certification – ODBA, ECSA, or Cogito admin; multiple certifications are preferred.
• One or more relevant third-party certifications from companies such as Microsoft, Citrix, RedHat, or VMWare (preferred).
• Progressively advanced experience in supporting enterprise healthcare IT systems, including Epic or similar EHR platforms, within a consulting, managed services, or healthcare delivery setting.
• Experience in people management, including direct supervision of technical staff, performance management, and team development.
• Proven experience leading or coordinating multi-customer or multi-engagement service delivery with responsibility for operational outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage work according to statements of work, service-level commitments, or operational agreements.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (infrastructure, applications, security, project management, and operations).
• Familiarity with budget management, resource planning, or staffing forecasts within established financial guidelines.
• Experience participating in or supporting client-facing discussions, operational reviews, or service delivery meetings.
• Four or more Epic implementations or upgrades.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare IT and Epic enterprise operations field.
• Proficient understanding of Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, PowerBI, etc.).
• Familiarity with Epic EHR operational environments, including enterprise operations, hosting, or infrastructure dependencies.
• Knowledge of healthcare IT operations and managed services delivery models.
• Understanding of core principles of IT service management, including incident, change, problem, and capacity management.
• Awareness of operational governance and compliance, including healthcare regulatory and security considerations (e.g., HIPAA awareness).
• Fundamentals of technical team leadership, encompassing performance management, coaching, and workforce planning.
• Concepts of project and delivery management, including milestones, decision gates, and outcome tracking.
• Basics of financial and resource management, including budgeting, forecasting, and utilization management.
• Knowledge of client relationship management and expectations for professional services delivery.
